Tonight Johnny and I carved pumpkins with our friends Lauren and Matt. Here are our creations!!!

mine is an owl on a tree branch. It was supposed to have a moon behind the owl's head but that fell off :( ah well it still looks neat, huh?

This weekend is the UW Art Museum's gala! I bought a dress specifically for the gala, which is safari-themed:

Hopefully I'll be able to take some pictures to post here. :)

oh, and the other night I went to take pictures of the full moon, after reading up a lot on how to do it (you use settings that you would use to take photos during the daylight!) I am thinking I might go to the thrift store and see if I can find a cheap telescope to take photos through. They are a bit blurry because my settings weren't quite right, the tripod was moving and the moon itself was moving!
