Mt. Rushmore pics - finally!

Here are a few photos from our Memorial Day weekend trip.

next we went to Register Cliff

We went to The Mammoth Site in Hot Springs, SD. VERY cool!
The arrows here show where the weight of Mammoths compressed the mud and left their mark!

at that point, we headed towards Custer, SD

the next day we went to see the Crazy Horse Memorial. It's huge!

Afterwards, we went on a tour of the Jewel Cave National Monument.

This Memorial Day weekend, Johnny and I journeyed to Mt. Rushmore. I will make an update filled with pictures within the next day or two, but first I have to sort through the 700+ pictures we took! In the meantime, I'll leave you with proof that we really did go on this trip:
